  • I’ve already got an elevator company, why do I need you?
    • The code requires that you have a 3rd party inspector witness the test and document the results. In most instances, elevator maintenance companies provide a mechanic to perform the tests only. Their contracts do not normally allow for the added cost of hiring the 3rd party inspector.

  • What happens after the inspection?
    • In most cases your inspection process goes through many hands, which can cause delays and even inspections to fall through the cracks. When the inspector is hired by the elevator company, their responsibility is to the elevator company and that is where they typically send the reports. At Reliant Elevator Inspections you will never be left in the dark. We will send the completed inspection reports to you and copy your elevator company, so that all parties are notified.
  • I don’t understand what the violations on my inspection report mean.
    • We are here to be your one stop inspection source. Once you receive the completed inspection report, if you have any questions pertaining to the violations, we are a phone call or e-mail away. Our only job is to take care of you and keep you in compliance with the state.
